ODER
Amazon Operations offers opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students from all backgrounds to accelerate their careers by working on challenging projects with talented teams. We offer roles in several areas, such as Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Health & Safety, and Human Resources: Amazon Logistics: At Amazon Logistics (AMZL), our goal is to provide customers with an incredible package delivery experience through the last mile of the order. To achieve this goal, we partner with a network of small independent delivery businesses (Delivery Service Providers) and the independent contractor community (Amazon Flex) to deliver customer orders. Amazon Robotics: We are a smart team of doers that work passionately to apply cutting edge advances in robotics and software to solve real-world challenges that will transform our customers' experiences in ways we can't even imagine yet. We invent new improvements every day. Amazon Transportation: Without accurate and timely package delivery, Amazon would not have become one of the world’s largest online retailers. It’s our Transportation & Logistics teammates who make that happen, developing processes and working closely with freight and transport companies on a massive scale to ensure that every individual shipment gets where it needs to go, when it needs to be there. Customer Fulfillment: Supported by innovative world-class technologies, our global network of FCs, delivery stations and customer service teams are dedicated to supporting customers worldwide. Together, we create, we build, and we take ownership for what we do — whether we’re developing new technology in-house, launching a new Amazon Fulfillment Center, or delighting our customers by delivering packages directly to them. We’re constantly creating the ideas, services, and products that make life easier for millions of customers. Customer Service: Our team supports customers in 16 languages from more than 130 locations around the globe. Everyone who works for Customer Service is focused on preventing and solving problems for customers, from designing and developing self-service technologies, building and managing products and programs, to interacting directly with customers. Engineering: The engineers of Amazon Fulfillment are creative thinkers that are eager to roll up their sleeves and solve problems. Our innovative Engineering departments design, implement, and maintain our fulfillment centers. This encompasses several different areas – process engineering, capacity/demand planning, material handling equipment design and implementation, fulfillment center project management, construction management, and packaging engineering. In turn, there’s opportunity for professional growth. Human resources: Our Human Resource professionals are hands-on generalists that act both tactically and strategically to maximize employee engagement and development. These critical roles are high-touch and customer-focused, and require our HR leaders to partner heavily with operations to support our associates. By being approachable and genuine, Amazon's HR leaders keep our employees engaged and satisfied so that our fulfillment centers can remain the most innovative and nimble on Earth. Infrastructure Technology: Corporate Operations can't happen without networks and IT, and Amazon has a massive infrastructure to connect and support. Qualified IT and networking specialists are the way we ensure that we’re able to keep all of Amazon running, 24/7/365... but also Health, Sustainability, Safety, Security & Compliance.
